Assuming the director of workforce management position in the fall of 2023 was a substantial undertaking for anyone, but Rita proved to be up for the challenge. She led the organizational efforts toward one centralized process and successfully implemented all worksites into the VMS platform in March 2024. Rita's steadfast commitment to the organization's goals of ensuring quality patient care, containing costs, and standardizing the locums process is evident. Penn State Health has a trusted advocate in Rita, who will continue to prioritize their staff, hospitals, and community.
